This Privacy Policy describes how Anthropos Automation Service LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company doing business as Kafe Xpress ("Kafe Xpress", "we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you visit or make a purchase from our online store (the "Site"), subscribe to our coffee subscriptions, request a business quote, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
Information you provide. Name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, order details (including coffee, size, grind and subscription preferences), gift messages and recipient details, account login credentials, business details you submit in quote/RFQ forms (business name, type, volume, equipment), communications you send us, and reviews or survey responses.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and/or third‑party payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers; we receive limited information such as the last four digits, card type, and transaction status.
Information collected automatically. Device and browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, referring URLs, time spent on pages, products viewed or added to cart, and interactions with emails. We collect this using cookies, pixels, web beacons, log files and similar technologies (see Section 7).
Information from third parties. Platform and service providers (e.g., Shopify, payment processors, shipping carriers, fraud‑prevention and analytics providers, marketing platforms, and our roasting and fulfillment partners) may provide us information about you in connection with the Services.
3. How we use information
- To process and fulfill orders, subscriptions and gifts, including roasting to order, shipping, delivery notifications, and returns;
- To create and manage your account and subscriptions (including skips, pauses, swaps and cancellations);
- To respond to wholesale and corporate quote requests and to communicate with you;
- To provide customer support and service messages (order confirmations, shipping updates, subscription reminders);
- To personalize the Services, including coffee recommendations and content;
- To send marketing communications where permitted by law (you may opt out at any time);
- To detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents and other harmful activity;
- To comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect our rights and the rights of others;
- To analyze and improve the Services, products and marketing.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK/Swiss visitors)
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal information: (a) to perform a contract with you (e.g., to fulfill an order or subscription); (b) for our legitimate interests (e.g., securing, operating and improving the Services, preventing fraud, and direct marketing to existing customers), balanced against your rights; (c) with your consent (e.g., non‑essential cookies and certain marketing), which you may withdraw at any time; and (d) to comply with legal obligations.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information with:
- Service providers acting on our behalf — e‑commerce platform (Shopify), payment processors, shipping and logistics carriers, roasting, co‑packing and fulfillment partners (including third‑party roasters and 3PLs) to the extent needed to produce and deliver your order, subscription apps, email/SMS providers, analytics, advertising and fraud‑prevention providers. These providers may only use your information to provide services to us.
- Business partners where you request it (e.g., a gift recipient receives delivery and gift message information you provide).
- Legal and safety — to comply with law, legal process or governmental requests; to enforce our agreements; or to protect the rights, property or safety of Kafe Xpress, our customers or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business.
Shopify hosts our store; information you provide may be stored and processed by Shopify and its sub‑processors. Shopify's privacy practices are described at shopify.com/legal/privacy.
6. Marketing communications
If you opt in, we may send you emails or SMS messages about products, offers and news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, by replying STOP to SMS, or by contacting us. Transactional messages (e.g., order and subscription notices) will continue as necessary to provide the Services.
7. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies that are (a) strictly necessary to operate the Site (cart, checkout, security), (b) used for analytics and performance, and (c) used for advertising and personalization. Where required, we request your consent for non‑essential cookies via a banner; you can change your choices at any time. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies; doing so may affect Site functionality. Some third parties may collect information about your online activities over time and across websites. We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals, but we honor Global Privacy Control ("GPC") signals where required by law.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including to maintain order and tax records as required by law (generally up to seven years for transaction records), to manage active subscriptions and accounts, and to resolve disputes. We retain information for longer only where necessary to comply with legal obligations or protect our legal rights.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted (TLS) connections for the Site and checkout. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International transfers
We are located in the United States and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose data‑protection laws may differ from those of your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.
11. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; to opt out of targeted advertising or "sales"/"sharing" as defined under U.S. state privacy laws; and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. To exercise these rights, contact us via our contact page. We will verify your request (and any authorized agent) and respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data‑protection authority.
California residents: the categories of personal information we collect and the purposes of use are described above. We do not "sell" personal information for money; our use of advertising cookies may constitute "sharing" for cross‑context behavioral advertising under the CCPA/CPRA — you can opt out via the cookie settings on our Site or by contacting us. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16.
12. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Third‑party links and services
The Site may link to third‑party websites and services (for example social media or payment providers). We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their policies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on the Site or communicated to you where required by law. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
